Soho's defining rock venue. He played here in multiple guises — as Davie Jones, as Arnold Corns, as Ziggy — and the crowd's bewilderment at each reinvention became part of his legend.

The Victorian Gothic lodge where he and Angie lived 1969–1973. He wrote Ziggy Stardust and The Spiders from Mars here, rehearsed the band in the minstrels' gallery, and held the Arts Lab in the grounds.
